Avotakka x VM Carpet: Kulosaari rug (blue)

The Kulosaari rug, created in collaboration by Avotakka magazine and VM Carpet, is handcrafted from pure New Zealand wool.

The stripes that punctuate the rug's white base draw their colours directly from nature. Colour options include blue, beige, and greige. The brown shades are achieved with Finnish willow, while the fresh blue originates from woad also grown in Finland.

The soft Kulosaari rug brings a relaxed atmosphere to both the living room and the bedroom. The rug was designed by Tuulikki Peltonen.

Weft: 100% felted New Zealand wool

Warp: 98% wool, 2% PES

90 x 200 cm, 160 x 230 cm, 200 x 300 cm

Care instructions:

Care for your rug by vacuuming, airing, and snow washing during winter. Local stains can be gently removed with clean water. For washing the rug, we recommend gentle flat washing at +30 °C.
