Knitted from soft merino wool, the Ornamentti cardigan, designed by Joona Höri, is like an adornment. This timeless cardigan features stunning cables that take some time to knit but are well worth the effort. The cardigan is knitted top-down.

Materials:

Yarn: Aara Aatos (75% merino wool, 25% nylon) 225 m/100 g. You will need: 8 (9, 9, 10, 11) (12, 13, 13, 14) skeins (color Latvus) or 1720 (1870, 2020, 2210, 2360) (2510, 2750, 2920, 3040) m of DK weight yarn.

Needles: 4 mm circular needles and 4.5 mm circular needles.

Other notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holder or scrap yarn, 4 buttons (ø 2 cm).

Gauge:

27 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm in cable pattern (chart 2 in pattern) in the round.
