Avotakka x VM Carpet: Kulosaari rug (beige)

The Kulosaari rug, created in collaboration between Avotakka magazine and VM Carpet, is handmade from pure New Zealand wool.

The stripes on the rug's white base draw their colors directly from nature. Color options include blue, beige, and greige. The brown shades are achieved with Finnish willow, while the fresh blue originates from woad also grown in Finland.

The soft Kulosaari rug brings a relaxed atmosphere to both the living room and the bedroom. The rug was designed by Tuulikki Peltonen.

Material:

Weft: 100% felted New Zealand wool

Warp: 98% wool, 2% PES

The gentle, light willow colors may - depending on the amount of light - fade, which is a natural characteristic of natural dyes.

90 x 200 cm, 160 x 230 cm, 200 x 300 cm

Care instructions:

Maintain your rug by vacuuming, airing, and snow washing during winter. Local stains can be gently removed with clean water. For rug washing, we recommend gentle flat wash at +30 °C.
