Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola is a Kotivinkki knitting magazine inspired by the iconic wallpapers of Tapettitehdas Pihlgren ja Ritola. This 124-page magazine contains 20 unique and previously unpublished knitting patterns. Additionally, you can read the fascinating story of Tapettitehdas Pihlgren ja Ritola within its pages.

The patterns in the knitting magazine were designed by popular knitting designers Anna Johanna, Anjuknits aka Anna Tanskanen, Ronja Hakalehto, Niina Laitinen, Mia Sumell, Sara Rönnback and Minttu Wikberg. The difficulty of the patterns ranges from easy to medium.

The Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola magazine contains a total of 21 patterns: seven pairs of socks, three sweaters, two beanies, two pairs of mittens, two bags, a cardigan, a cowl, a shawl, a throw blanket, and three dishcloths.

The knitting patterns in the magazine use yarns from Novita, Sandnes Garn, Tukuwool, and Pirtin Kehräämö, for example. Good availability and versatility of yarns have been taken into account in the yarn choices.

Kotivinkki Kitty craft kit: Lumikide cowl

With the Kotivinkki Kitty craft kit, you can make the Lumikide cowl designed by knitting designer Minttu Wikberg. The package includes everything you need: high-quality tools, materials, and carefully prepared instructions in a beautiful Kitty package.

The cowl, knitted in double knitting, is inspired by Tapettitehdas Pihlgren ja Ritola's iconic Lumikide wallpaper. The Lumikide cowl pattern can also be found in the Rakkaat kuviot knitting magazine, which contains a total of 20 knitting patterns inspired by Pihlgren ja Ritola's wallpaper designs.

The Lumikide cowl is knitted from Finnish sheep's wool. Pirtin Kehräämö's worsted yarn is soft and luxurious. The yarn does not itch, so it is well suited for the neck. Thanks to the double knitting technique, the cowl can be worn either way: there are no floats on the wrong side.
