Downloadable instructions: Flower Garden socks (designer Mia Sumell)

Mia Sumell's Kukkatarha (Flower Garden) socks were published in the Rakkaat kuvioit & Pihlgren ja Ritola magazine, where the inspiration came from Pihlgren ja Ritola's iconic wallpaper patterns. 

A narrow vertical stripe pattern gives the socks a modern touch. Choose green as the main color if you want to emphasize the floral pattern.

Pattern details:

Size:

39–41 (the toe of the sock has room for adjustment for smaller socks).

Materials:

Yarn: Novita Venla yarn (420 m = 100 g), main color pujo (heather) (372) 85 g, pattern color off-white (010) 60 g.

Needles: 2.5 mm double-pointed needles, for ribbing 2 mm double-pointed needles.

Other materials: Tapestry needle.

Gauge:

31 sts × 35 rows = 10 cm × 10 cm
