The rooftops of Helsinki are repeated in the colorwork pillowcase. The back of the pillow is simple colorwork knitting.

The instructions for the Helsinki pillowcase have been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Erik Bruun magazine, where Erik Bruun's iconic posters served as inspiration.

Materials:

Yarn: Novita 7 Veljestä (80% wool, 20% polyamide (200 m / 100 g)

MC: 011 white 2 balls or 400 m

CC: 099 soot less than 2 balls or 350 m

Needles: 4 mm 80 cm circular needles and a single 4 mm double-pointed needle (or according to gauge)

Other materials: 2 stitch markers, a tapestry needle, and 7 white buttons approx. 1 cm.

Gauge:

21 sts and 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch. 

21 sts and 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in colorwork in the round.
