The pattern for the Helmi pouch has been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Birger Kaipiainen magazine, where the patterns and art ceramics of Birger Kaipiainen served as inspiration.
The project bag is knitted seamlessly, starting from the bottom of the bag and working upwards towards the top edge of the bag and the drawstring casing. Finally, the drawstrings are knitted and threaded through the drawstring casing of the project bag.

Size:
One size - width 28 cm, height 25 cm
Materials:
Yarn: 200 g Sandnes Garn Double Sunday (108 m / 50 g) and 50 g of the same yarn for contrast color and drawstrings. The project bag is knitted with double yarn, the drawstrings are knitted with single yarn. Shades 1099 Black (Double Sunday) and 2321 Marzipan (Double Sunday)
Needles: 6 mm with 40 cm cable for the project bag and 4 mm with 40 cm cable for the drawstrings. Choose needle size according to your gauge.
Gauge:
16 sts × 22 rows / 10 cm × 10 cm in double seed stitch with 6 mm needles after blocking
