The pattern for the Perhosia (Butterflies) mittens has been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Birger Kaipiainen magazine, where the inspiration came from Birger Kaipiainen's patterns and art ceramics.

The mittens are decorated with a fair isle flower and butterfly motif.

Size:

One size, fits a woman

Materials:

Yarn: Novita Nalle (75% wool, 25% polyamide 100 g / 260 m). MC: 1 skein or 40 g soot 099. CC1: 1 skein or 10 g linen 061. CC2: 1 skein or 20 g blue 304.

Needles: Double-pointed needles 3 mm. Choose needle size so that you achieve the correct gauge.

Other materials: tapestry needle

Gauge:

26 sts × 36 rows / 10 × 10 cm in fair isle pattern with 3 mm needles (after blocking)
