Downloadable pattern: Puro skirt (designer Hannemari Lehtonen)

The playful skirt gets its shape from increases made below the waistband. The skirt is knitted from the waist down.

The pattern for the Puro skirt has been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Vuokko magazine, which was inspired by Vuokko's stunning timeless designs.

Waist (70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95) (100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125) (130, 135, 140, 145, 150) cm.

Instructions for choosing size: Measure the widest part of your waist and choose your size accordingly.
There is no recommended ease for this.

Measurements of the finished garment:

Waist-hip-seat 70–150 cm.

Hem length 45 cm or desired length.

Materials:

Yarn: Sandnes Garn DUO (55% merino, 45% cotton, 115 m / 50 g)

MC (1002 off-white):
1–5: 3 balls / 150 metres
6–11: 4 balls / 200 metres
12–17: 5 balls / 250 metres

CC1 (4236 red):
1–5: 2 balls / 100 metres
6–11: 2 balls / 100 metres
12–17: 3 balls / 150 metres

CC2 (5575 marine):
1–5: 2 balls / 100 metres
6–11: 2 balls / 100 metres
12–17: 3 balls / 150 metres

Needles: 3 mm double-pointed needles and 4.5/5 mm 80/100 cm circular needles.

Other notions: 2.5 cm wide elastic the circumference of your waist, stitch marker, waste yarn for provisional cast-on, darning needle, sewing thread, and a crochet hook.

Gauge:

18 sts and 22 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round.
