This wintery fair-isle set is knitted in the round. The fluffy surface of the knit comes from silk mohair yarn.
The pattern for the Snowflake mittens was published in Rakkaat kuviot & Erik Bruun magazine, where Erik Bruun's iconic posters served as inspiration.

Mitten circumference 21 cm
Materials:
Yarn: Vuonue Pentti worsted yarn (70% Finnish sheep wool, 30% Tencel, 240 m / 100 g)
MC: natural black 1 skein or 170 m
CC: natural white 1 skein or 100 m
Needles: 3 mm and 3.25 mm double-pointed needles. Choose needle size to match gauge.
Other materials: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends, removable stitch marker, scrap yarn.
Gauge:
26 sts and 29 rounds = 10 × 10 cm in fair isle with 3.25 mm needles after blocking.
