Rakkaat kuviot & Aarikka knitting magazine

Rakkaat kuviot is Kotivinkki's wonderful knitting magazine, the 2/2024 issue of which is inspired by Aarikka's diverse jewellery and interior design collection. The 124-page magazine contains 21 unique and previously unpublished knitting patterns. In addition, you can read an article about Aarikka's story.

The patterns in the knitting magazine were designed by top Finnish knitwear designers and international stars Aleks Byrd, Jennifer Brou, Anna Tanskanen, Mia Sumell, Heli Hottinen-Puukko, Hannemari Lehtonen, Veera Jussila, Johanna Nuorela, Maria Kostamovaara, Tiina Kaarela and Tiia Reho. The difficulty of the patterns varies from easy to challenging.

The patterns in Rakkaat kuviot & Aarikka magazine include beautiful colourwork socks, sweaters, a cardigan, a vest, headwear, scarves and cowls, mittens and bags.

The size range of the knits is wide, meaning there are knits for all sizes. The size of the socks can be increased by changing the needle size. The knits use yarns from Novita, Vuonue, Tukuwool, Opal, Wetterhof, and Sandnes Garn, among others. Good availability and versatility were taken into account in the yarn choices.
