A classic cable knit is always stylish. The Solmut sweater was designed by Heli Hottinen-Puukko. The sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down, and the cables provide a nice challenge.

Side length armpit–hem: 36.5 (36.5, 37.5, 38) (37, 36.5, 35) cm
Sleeve circumference: 36 (39, 42, 46) (48, 51, 53) cm

Materials:
Yarn: Vuonue Tilta (100% Finnish sheep wool, 100 g = 230 m. Pictured in medium gray 5 (6, 6, 7) (7, 8, 8) skeins.
Circular needles: 3 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm (length 40–80 cm depending on work stage). Choose needle size to match gauge.
Other materials: locking stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch cables or scrap yarn Gauge: 27 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm in cable knit (chart 2 of pattern) in the round
Gauge:
26 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm in cable knit in the round on 4 mm needles
20 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round on 4 mm needles
