Downloadable pattern: Norppa sweater (designer Mia Sumell)

The Norppa sweater is knitted bottom-up with raglan sleeves. Short rows are knitted at the back of the neck for an improved fit.

The pattern for the Norppa sweater was published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Erik Bruun knitting magazine, inspired by Erik Bruun's iconic posters.

Yarn: Drops Karisma (100% wool, 100 m / 50 g)

MC: 90 light blue 7 (8, 8, 10, 10) (12, 13, 15, 16) balls OR 700 (800, 800, 1000, 1100) (1200, 1300, 1500, 1600) m

CC: 53 dark grey 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 4, 5, 5) balls OR 200 (200, 200, 200, 300) (300, 400, 500, 500) m

Needles: 4 mm and 5 mm circular needles (40–100 cm). 4 mm DPNs for sleeve ribbing.

21 sts and 23 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch. 21 sts and 23 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stranded colorwork in the round.
