Sara Rönnback’s Midsummer Rose sweater has been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola magazine, where the inspiration was Pihlgren ja Ritola’s iconic wallpaper patterns. 

The rose pattern and brushed alpaca yarn are a perfect combination: they create a clean-lined and loose-fitting knit that is suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions.

Finished garment measurements: Bust circumference: 120 (125) 133 (141) 149 cm (the sweater has plenty of ease, approx. 30 cm at the bust)

Length from back neck to hem: 64 (66) 69 (73) 75 cm

Length from armpit to hem: 38 (40) 42 (44) 46 cm

Sleeve circumference: 38 (38) 40 (40) 42 cm

Sleeve length from armpit: 37 (38) 39 (40) 41 cm

Materials:

Yarn: Sandnes Garn Borstet Alpakka (110 m = 50 g), colour off-white 1012, 8 (8) 9 (10) 11 balls.

For embroidery, Sandnes Garn Borstet Alpakka colours peach 4033, spruce forest 8581, pistachio 8532, and for 3D petals dark peach 3553, partial balls of each.

Needles: 5 mm and 6 mm circular needles (80 cm) and 5 mm and 6 mm circular needles (40 cm) or to achieve gauge.

Other materials: tapestry needle for embroidery and finishing, 2 stitch markers, waste yarn.

Gauge:

Knitting gauge: 15 sts x 19 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
