The pattern for the Peony cushion cover has been published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Birger Kaipiainen magazine, which was inspired by the patterns and art ceramics of Birger Kaipiainen.
If you wish, you can also make the knit into a clutch-type bag by turning the chart upside down, so that the opening is at the top.

Materials:
Yarn: Vuonue Pentti worsted yarn 70% Finnish sheep wool, 30% tencel, 240 m/100g MC: salmon pink 100 g (the entire skein was practically used for this; if your gauge varies, buy another skein just in case, or you can make an ochre-colored stripe on the edge). CC1: ochre 30 g. CC2: dark grey 10 g.
Needles: 3.5 mm circular needles or according to your gauge
Other materials: tapestry needle. Inner cushion or polyester fiberfill for stuffing. If needed, lining fabric for the bag.
Gauge:
22 sts × 28 rows / 10 × 10 cm in colorwork with 3.5 mm needles (after blocking)
