The Lintunen mittens are adorned with swallows reminiscent of spring, created using the traditional Estonian roosimine technique. The mittens were designed by knitwear designer Veronika Lindberg, known by the alias Kutovakika.

Size:
One size. Finished mitten measurements: circumference 20 cm, length 24 cm.
Materials:
Yarn: Säie Merino Aran yarns (100% Superwash wool – 166 m/100 g) as follows:
- 50 g in color Oh So Pretty
- 20 g in color Burnt Cinnamon
- 10 m in color Heart Of Night
- 3 m in color Honeysuckle White.
Needles: 3 mm and 4 mm double-pointed needles or a longer circular needle if you prefer magic loop.
Other notions: Stitch markers, a length of scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
Gauge:
20 sts x 28 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round with 4 mm needles.
