Downloadable pattern: Atomi Socks (designer Mia Sumell)

Mia Sumell's Atomi socks have been published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola knitting magazine, where the iconic wallpaper patterns by Pihlgren and Ritola served as inspiration. 

The trick to these long socks is the Atomi fair isle pattern, which continues unbroken to the sole of the socks. The pattern stands out best when the background color is dominant.

Yarn: Novita Nalle yarn (260 m = 100 g), main color droplet (183) 100 g, pattern color white (011) 75 g.

Needles: 3 mm double-pointed needles, 2.5 mm double-pointed needles for the ribbing.

Other materials: tapestry needle.

Gauge:

28 sts × 34  rounds = 10 cm × 10 cm
