Downloadable pattern: Tatti socks (designer Maija Vaara)

The giant balls on the socks are created using the intarsia technique. The ball will be whole or half depending on which foot you put the socks on.

The pattern for the Tatti socks has been published in Rakkaat kuvio & Vuokko magazine, where Vuokko's beautiful timeless designs served as inspiration.

Yarn: Tukuwool Sock 80% Finnish sheep wool, 20% biodegradable polyamide, 320 m / 100 g

MC: Tukuwool Sock 21 Polte 1 skein

CC: Tukuwool Sock 39 Manna 1 skein

Needles: 3.0 mm double-pointed needles

Other materials: Darning needle.

Gauge:

24 sts and 34 rounds = 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
