Downloadable pattern: Brita Mittens (designer Minttu Wikberg)

Minttu Wikberg's Brita mittens have been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola magazine, where the inspiration came from Pihlgren and Ritola's iconic wallpaper patterns. 

The long-cuffed mittens are timeless in their black and white coloring. After the twisted ribbing of the cuff, the graphic colorwork continues all the way to the tip decreases.

Materials:

Yarn: Novita Nalle (260 m = 100 g), 1 skein or 45 g of off-white 010 and 1 skein or 55 g of soot 099.

Needles: 3 mm double-pointed needles or according to your tension.

Other materials: tapestry needle.

Gauge:

25 sts = 10 cm. The mitten is a narrow model – if you want a larger size, you can use Aran weight yarn for the project, e.g., Novita 7 Veljestä.
