These striking socks are knitted top-down. The owl's eyes are duplicate stitched afterward.

Materials:
Yarn: Lankava Mainio (75% wool, 25% polyamide, 260 m / 100 g)
MC: 655 Salmiakki 2 balls or 390 m
CC: 652 Usva 1 ball or 156 m
For duplicate stitching: approx. 1 m orange and 0.5 m white yarn
Needles: 3 mm double-pointed needles for the colorwork section and 2.5 mm double-pointed needles for the ribbing and stockinette section.
Other materials: tapestry needle.
Gauge:
27 sts and 27 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch & colorwork in the round.
