Archipelago Knits knitting magazine
Saariston Neuleet (Archipelago Knits) is a wonderful knitting magazine inspired by the Finnish archipelago and seascape. The 124-page magazine includes 20 unique and previously unpublished knitting patterns. The magazine features everyday wear for everyone. Most of the knits are unisex.
Knitwear designers Anna Johanna, Anna Tanskanen, Jenny Williams, Jona Bednjanec, Ulrika Krantz, Sara R., Emma Suominen, Hannemari Lehtonen, Heli Hottinen-Puukko, Janita Koskinen, Anna-Karoliina Tetri, Veera Jussila and Meg Gadsbey have designed archipelago-themed knits and accessories. The pattern difficulty ranges from easy to advanced.
It includes wonderful textured knits and splashes of color: sweaters, a cardigan, a vest, two pairs of socks, beanies, and scarves. The range of sizes is wide, meaning there are knits for all sizes.
The knits use yarns from brands such as Novita, Tukuwool, Säie Wool, Isager Yarn, Cardiff, Sandnes Garn, Filcolana, and Drops. Yarn choices were made with good availability and versatility in mind.
