Ronja Hakalehto's Lintu Sininen (Blue Bird) cardigan has been published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola magazine, inspired by Pihlgren and Ritola's iconic wallpaper patterns.

The yoked cardigan is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom. Finally, the knit is steeked, i.e., cut open into a cardigan.

Materials:

Yarn: Tukuwool DK (100% Finnish wool, 250 m/100 g) MC: 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins (color: H28 Ujo) CC: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skeins (color 01 Sake)

Needles: 3.5 mm circular needles (60 cm or longer) for neckband and hem ribbing. 4 mm circular needles (40 cm for the beginning of the yoke and 60 cm or longer for the rest of the yoke and body). 4 mm double-pointed needles (or 80–100 cm circular needles if using Magic Loop technique) for sleeves. 3.5 mm double-pointed needles (or 80–100 cm circular needles if using Magic Loop technique) for sleeve ribbing.

Gauge:

17 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles after blocking.
