Downloadable pattern: Cherry Tree Shoulder Bag (designer Anna Tanskanen)

Anna Tanskanen's Cherry Tree shoulder bag has been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola magazine, where the inspiration came from Pihlgren and Ritola's iconic wallpaper patterns. 

The bag is knitted with a triple strand of yarn to help it keep its shape during use. One side features a lacy textured knit, while the other is plain stockinette.

Size:

Width 27 cm, height 31 cm.

Materials:

Yarn: 250 g Sandnes Garn Duo yarn (115 m = 50 g), color Powder Pink 4032. For embroidery, a small amount of white mohair yarn, for example, Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair, and Sandnes Garn Duo color 4032 Powder Pink for the center of the flowers.

Needles: 6 mm circular needles (80 cm) or according to your gauge

Other materials: stitch marker, 1.5 cm wide leather strap 65 cm, darning needle for embroidery, and a 3 mm crochet hook.

Gauge:

12 sts × 21 rows = 10 cm × 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 6 mm needles (after wet blocking).
