Downloadable pattern: Birgen socks (designer Hannemari Lehtonen)
The secret to warm socks is two yarns. The leg is knitted with double-stranded thick yarn. The foot fits into the shoe thanks to the thin sock yarn.
The pattern for Birgen socks has been published in Saariston neuleet knitting magazine, which draws inspiration from the Finnish archipelago and sea landscape.
