Avotakka x VM Carpet: Kulosaari rug (greige)

The Kulosaari rug, created in collaboration between Avotakka magazine and VM Carpet, is handcrafted from pure New Zealand wool.

The stripes that give rhythm to the rug's white base take their colors directly from nature. Color options include blue, beige, and greige. The brown shades are achieved with Finnish willow, while the fresh blue originates from woad also grown in Finland.

The soft Kulosaari rug brings a relaxed atmosphere to both the living room and bedroom. The rug was designed by Tuulikki Peltonen.

Material:

Weft: 100% felted New Zealand wool

Warp: 98% wool, 2% PES

The gentle pale willow colors may - depending on the amount of light - fade, as a natural characteristic of natural colors.

90 x 200 cm, 160 x 230 cm, 200 x 300 cm

Care instructions:

Maintain your rug by vacuuming, airing, and snow washing in winter. Local stains can be gently removed with clean water. For washing the rug, we recommend gentle flat washing at +30 °C.
