The Ruukkutarha sweater, designed by Anna Johanna and knitted from a rustic yet soft yarn, is worked seamlessly from the top down. The design is wonderfully roomy and suitable for spring gardening.

Finished garment bust and waist circumference: 104.5-115-125 (135.5-146-156.5) 167-177.5-188 cm.

Materials:

Yarn: Regia 6-fädig Tweed (70% wool, 25% nylon, 5% viscose, 375 m/150 g) and Schoppel-Wolle Edition 3 (100% merino, 150 m/50 g), or other DK-weight yarn. Colors in pictures: 2 (MC, 6-fädig Tweed), 2298 (CC1, Edition 3) and 22 (CC2, 6-fädig Tweed). 2-3-3 (4-4-4) 5-5-5 skeins of MC, 1-2-2 (2-2-2) 2-2-2 skeins of CC1, and 1 skein of CC2.

Needles: 3.5 mm and 3.75 mm – 100 cm circular needles, and DPNs if you prefer to knit sleeves with them. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Other notions: 4 stitch markers, scrap yarn, 3.5 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle.

Gauge:

23 sts × 29 rows = 10 × 10 cm in colorwork and stockinette stitch in the round with larger needles (after blocking).
