The houses on the riverside of Porvoonjoki are depicted on the Porvoo socks. The socks are knitted from the cuff to the toes.
The pattern for Porvoo socks was published in Rakkaat kuviot & Erik Bruun magazine, where the inspiration came from Erik Bruun's iconic posters.

Height of leg: 19 cm
Length of foot is easy to adjust
Materials:
Yarn: Lankava Sulo (75% wool, 25% polyamide, 400 m / 100 g)
MC: 455 licorice, less than one skein or 280 m
CC: 451 snow, less than one skein or 120 m
Needles: 2.5 mm double-pointed needles (for the colorwork section, you can use 3 mm double-pointed needles if you want more width in the leg)
Other supplies: darning needle.
Gauge:
30 sts and 37 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch. 30 sts and 37 rows = 10 × 10 cm in colorwork in the round.
