Downloadable pattern: Sunflower Beanie (designer Anna Johanna)

Anna Johanna's Sunflower hat pattern has been published in Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola magazine, inspired by Pihlgren ja Ritola's iconic wallpaper patterns.

The fun colorwork hat features a triple-folded ribbed brim and a pompom. The hat is knitted from the bottom up, with the colorwork forming a huge sunflower on the crown.

Pattern details:

Size:

M. Suitable for head circumferences of 54–56 cm.

Finished garment measurements: Circumference measured from the bottom edge of the ribbing 52 cm, height of the hat with ribbing folded three times (without pompom) 21 cm, height with ribbing straight (without pompom) 35 cm.

Materials:

Yarn: Tukuwool DK yarn (250 m = 100 g), Sake 70 g, Kimo 20 g, Repo 6 g and Aava 16 g.

Needles: 3.5 mm and 3.75 mm 100 cm circular needles or DPNs. Adjust needle size if necessary to achieve the correct gauge.

Other materials: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle, pompom maker.

Gauge: 22 sts × 26 rows = 10 × 10 cm in colorwork knitting in the round with larger needles (after blocking).
