Downloadable instructions: Marja Yoke Sweater (designer Anna Tanskanen)

The combination of Finnish wool and silk mohair results in a thick gauge, allowing the garment to be completed quickly. The fluffy Marja sweater was designed by Anna Tanskanen, also known as Anjuknits.

Pattern Information:

Sizes:

XS (S–M) L–XL (2XL–3XL). Finished sweater bust circumference: 100 (110) 120 (130) cm.

Materials:

Yarn: 400 (400) 500 (600) g Tukuwool DK yarn (250 m = 100 g) and 125 (125) 150 (175) g Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair yarn (212 m = 25 g). The sweater is knitted with both yarns held together. Sample colors: Tukuwool DK in Taate 28 and Tynn Silk Mohair in Ruusu 4323.

Needles: 4 mm with a 40 cm cable for the neckline, and 5.5 mm with 40 cm and 80 cm cables for the yoke, body, and sleeves.

Other notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors, and thin elastic for the neckline.

Gauge:

16 sts × 19 rows = 10 × 10 cm in garter stitch on 5.5 mm needles after blocking
