Downloadable pattern: Pocket Watch beanie (designer Joona Höri)

The pattern for the Pocket Watch beanie has been published in the Rakkaat kuvio & Birger Kaipiainen magazine, where the patterns and art ceramics of Birger Kaipiainen served as inspiration.

The beanie is knitted from the ribbing to the crown. The clock hands are embroidered afterwards.

Suitable for head circumferences: 51–53 (53–58.5) 58.5–63 cm.

Finished garment measurements:

Beanie circumference: 43 (47) 52.5 cm. Recommended ease: 6–11 cm less than head circumference. Beanie height (cuff folded): 20 cm, height can be adjusted.

Materials:

Yarn: Tukuwool Fingering (100% Finnish wool, 370 m / 100 g). 1 (1) 1 skein, sample knit in color Manna.

Needles: 2.5 mm circular needle (40 cm cable, and 80 cm cable or DPNs for decreases)

Other materials: Tapestry needle, stitch marker, cable needle

Gauge:

28 sts and 42 rows / 10 × 10 cm in chart cable pattern after blocking
