The reindeer wandering on Saaga socks bring to mind the landscapes of Lapland. The socks are knitted from the cuff to the toes.

The pattern for Saaga socks was published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Pentik magazine, where Pentik's home textiles and ceramics served as inspiration.

Size:

38–39. Finished garment measurements: Cuff circumference at calf 32 cm, foot circumference 21.5 cm.

Materials: 

Yarn: Opal 4-ply (75% wool, 25% polyamide, 425 m / 100 g)

MC: Grey 100 g, 1 ball

CC: White 40 g, 1 ball

Needles: 3.0 mm double-pointed needles (2.5 mm for ribbing if desired)

Other materials: Tapestry needle for finishing, cable needle

Gauge:

28 sts × 34 rounds = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round
