Downloadable pattern: Sunflower Socks (designer Anna Johanna)

Anna Johanna's Sunflower socks have been published in the Rakkaat kuviot & Pihlgren ja Ritola knitting magazine, where the inspiration was Pihlgren and Ritola's iconic wallpaper designs.

The knee-high socks are adorned with a charming, huge sunflower colorwork pattern. The socks are knitted top-down and feature a French heel.

Pattern information:

Size:

M. Finished garment measurements: Cuff circumference 31.5 cm. Sock circumference at ankle 24.5 cm. Leg length from top edge of cuff (measured from center back) to bottom of heel 39 cm.

Materials:

Yarn: Sandnes Garn Perfect yarn (100 m = 50 g), 120 g of color 8552, 110 g of color 2325, 10 g of color 6581 and 10 g of color 3535.

Needles: 3.5 mm 100 cm circular needles or DPNs. Adjust needle size as needed to achieve correct gauge.

Other supplies: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Gauge:

23 sts × 26 rows = 10cm x 10 cm in colorwork in the round (after blocking).
